January 2017 proved a milestone month for Publicity Engineers as the long-standing KBB specialist PR Company celebrated its 21st birthday.
In the month the business was launched, January 1996, Michael Jackson (Earth Song) and George Michael (Jesus to a child) topped the charts (sadly and amazingly both no longer with us), whilst Charles and Diana divorced and mad cow’s disease spread fear and anxiety especially amongst the British farming community.
Since those early days Publicity Engineers has evolved from a stand-alone PR business to one that offers a full range of services including advertising, design and more latterly publishing via its sister company Media Engineers: launched eight years ago. The publishing arm currently produces the member magazine for the BiKBBI (British Institute of Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom Installation).
Publicity Engineers has earned its ‘key of the door’ by nurturing relationships with its friends in the media and by providing outstanding service to its clients which has engendered a unique loyalty in return
Founder and Managing Director, Rob Nicholls says, “I think the key to our longevity is that we have remained faithful to the KBB market by never diversifying; this and the fact that we have consistently had a great team and had fabulous support by our friends in the media who we are indebted to and respect immensely.”
Rob adds “In our time we have worked with some industry giants including; SieMatic, Smeg, VitrA, Villeroy & Boch, Caple, CP Hart, Aga, Vogue (UK) to name just a few and our current client portfolio remains strong, furthermore, we have an exceptionally talented and vastly experienced team so we have the foundations to enjoy many more years to come.”
